I have a campaign and it's at http://www.drynites.com/nl/t-shirt/

i would like to get the stats of how many people are downloading the coupon (http://www.drynites.com/nl/t-shirt/pdf/Coupon.pdf) located at http://www.drynites.com/nl/t-shirt/coupon.html

can i just simply setup a custom report with most recent campaign ID as my first dimension and download files as 2nd dimension?

i guess my question really is if i'm doing this correctly. attached is the sample output. i'm wondering how come there is a "none" above the coupon file.

anybody get any ideas? thanks!

I would hook up an onClick action on that "Print Coupon" button. You could call dcsmultitrack to pass WT.mc_id and PDF name to SDC.

On your sample jpg, I think you're seeing "None" because your custom report is finding activity with a campaign parameter without a downloaded file. Try checking the "Exclude activity without dimension data" option on the 2nd dimension [in the Custom Report config].

pburgh's idea is sound in my book, as is his explanation of the 'none' results.

well that did resolved the "none" thingy. thanks guys

here's another thing though, the total number of visits to the file is more than the number of visits in the downloaded files report. i've attached the re-analyzed custom report and the downloaded files report.

it would make sense to me if the sum of visits is lower than the visits in the downloaded files report.

unless its possible that a person comes from 2 campaign IDs and ends up downloading a single PDF file?

The custom report only shows activity where the visitor downloaded the file by clicking on a link that contained the campaign id, right? Is it not possible that visitors could be accessing the PDF(s) directly? This would explain why your custom report might show smaller numbers than the downloaded files report.
