Hi

I am trying to set up a query to find pages that do not have a string in it but not having luck. Please help:

I'm using: Pages(URLs) doesn't equal ".nsf"

What am I doing wrong?

Well, that's verrry interesting.

I don't think you can do it.

Although Query has a negative function, it looks like Query requires an exact match. You can't use a substring or wild card.

Search finds substrings just fine, but has no negative function.

Or I'm missing something big. But two great minds (pmgreen and cgrant) haven't been able to do it ...

Hey Chris -

Can you think of a way of making this work? What I am trying to do is find/identify any page(s) that are no in a Notes DB (.nsf). I thought it would be easy to find but.. it hasn't.

Thanks

If all your pages end up in your WT reports (i.e. the displayed table isn't maxed out) then I would export it to excel. In Excel, I'd do this:

sort
Data >> Filter >> AutoFilter
pull down the menu that's now at the top of the column, choose "Custom"
In the next box, in the pulldown menu, choose "Does not contain" and specify ".nsf"

Hit OK and you'll have the list you want.

The other thing you can do is a custom report in WebTrends, but you'll have to re-analyze data or wait for new data to analyze. Dimension should be Pages and Filter should be "exclude URL containing .nsf"

And finally if your displayed table isn't complete, i.e. the limit isn't long enough to show everything, increase the limit of displayed rows. As long as your INTERNAL table isn't filled up, changing displayed rows will show you more data without having to analyze. I think you need to do something first ... bounce the UI Service or the MySQL Agent or something in Services? Can't remember.
