A couple of users are having problems with WebTrends when going to the start up page. The login frame appears but the other frame is blank and the user is unable to click anywhere within the browser.
Not sure if it is a java issue, I got them to upgrade to J2SE 1.5.0.9 and it still didn't work. They are using Windows 2000 and IE 6. Any suggestions? If anyone needs more details, let me know. |

Be sure to check their browser security settings and browser cache settings. Enable popups and JavaScript (scripting in general). You may also check the KB to see if there's other info along these lines. If your own machine works when accessing these reports, you could try having those users log onto your machine and see if the problem is isolated to their login privileges.
Good luck - let us know how it turns out! |

We tried your suggestions MitchellT but unfortunately they didn't work.

A quick note. Tried it on another computer with IE 7. An alert box comes up and says that this browser isn't supported, but we had absolutely no problems using WebTrends. I was even able to export reports.

I seem to recall that I had a similar problem when attempting to view Webtrends on a system with low resolution. What was happening was that the Java applet approval box was coming up on the screen someplace out of the visible area. Try to bring up WT on those people's box, then when the unresponsive browser is visible try an ALT+TAB to see if the Java window is someplace then click OK to agree to it.
Also, have you tried having them log onto your box? |

No, it definitely isn't an issue with low resolution. This user was able to log into WebTrends last week. It's only been in the last few days that it isn't working. Again with IE it hangs on her computer.
I got her to log into another computer with IE 7 and she was able to log in. |

If she was able to get on last week from a computer that's not working now, I'd suspect Windows Auto Updates. Check the update log to see what's gotten updated and when.
