I'm using v8, but can't find the custom reports option. I'm looking under Web Analysis > Report Configuration > Custom Reports. Any ideas?

If you bought the custom report pack, you should be seeing it if your license key is correct. My guess is that you unlocked the program with a Standard or Marketing level license key. You need Advanced Marketing or Commerce report packs. Check under Administration >> Licensing >> General to see what Report Packs it thinks you have.

It sounds to me like what you are really looking to do is create a custom template. That is going to be under Web Analysis>Report Designer.

I just wanted to add something to 2D's comment. I assume you want to export this custom template to Microsoft Word or PDF and then present that to the Execs. This will be no problem.

But if you have you heart set on exporting to Excel and "fiddling" with the data, then this solution will not work. Custom templates cannot be exported to Excel or Databases.

Interesting. I do pulls, not pushes, for my Excel data (yay ODBC, yay DataLinks) so I hadn't a clue about this. What template, exactly, does WebTrends do a full profile export with??? The export screen for Excel/CSV says "export all reports IN THIS TEMPLATE." Is this another bug?
