Hi everyone,

Does anyone currently use IE7 to view their webtrends reports? I know the supported browser in the release notes is IE6 or higher, but I wanted to double check. We are going to be running WT 7.5b.

In our experience WT breaks in the late beta of IE7, as recently as the IE 7 version available a couple weeks ago.

WT7.5b is definitely breaking in the release version of IE7.

Is there a patch/hotfix for WT available?

WebTrends has released a patch for WebTrends 8.0a. You could try it on 7.5b as you can easily restore the old files if it doesn't work. Read my blog posting about this patch:

There is no official support for IE7 on any version of 7.5. It may or may not work. The first version that officially supported IE7 was v8.0c, I believe.

I wish that fact had been in the release notes.

Thank you for your replies, I agree with Chris and 2Dangerous's statement is confirmed by WebTrends Support:
