I have a group of pages that share this URL structure:
http://apps.mysite.com/classifieds/* How can I group them in one report so I can have it added to my template? I started by copying the "content groups and sub-content groups" report and adding a a new filter to grab only pages sharing these URLs, but it hasn't worked. What should my filter be? Is there a better way to do this? This would be so much easier if I could set up a weekly report using my bookmarks, but of course that's not an option. HELP! |

The "Content Groups and Sub-Content Groups" report requires the presence of WT.cg_n and WT.cg_s in the query string for the pages. If those query parameters are not present the report will never populate.
What you need is a report that simply has "Pages" as the dimension and a filter based on URL. The "Page Expression" for the filter would be: /classifieds/* If there is more than one domain in your log files, that domain contains pages in the same folder structure, and you do not want those pages included, add an additional Match Criteria and filter on "Multi-homed Domain". Set the "Match Values" to: apps.mysite.com Do NOT put in http:// or https://. These are not included in the field the domain value is pulled from and will result in no match being made. Add this filter as an include to your report and you should get the data you are looking for. |
